The Melissa Caftan in Purple & Lavender Lemonade Prosecco
Cocktail

purple Melissa Caftan

The Lavender Lemonade Prosecco Cocktail is made of a homemade
lavender lemon syrup and your favorite Prosecco.
To make the syrup, combine 1 cup of sugar, ¼ cup of lemon juice, ¾ cup
water, 1 tablespoon of dried lavender, and 2-3 drops of neon purple food
coloring.
Simmer over low-medium heat for 15 minutes, allow to cool for 15
minutes, and pour through a fine mesh strainer to remove the lavender
buds from the syrup.
Then, fill the bottom of each glass with 2 oz. of lavender syrup, and top it
off with your favorite prosecco.

The Katherine Caftan in Watermelon & Watermelon Mojito

Watermelon Katherine Caftan

This is not a last minute recipe – you’ll have to prepare the puree and
mint syrup a couple of hours in advance.
For the mint syrup combine ½ cup of water, ½ cup of granulated sugar,
and about 20 leaves fresh mint in a small saucepan. Boil until sugar is
dissolved. Give time to chill.
Process watermelon cubes in a blender until smooth. Pour through a fine
mesh and chill the puree. Combine 1 cup white rum, 2/3 cup of freshly squeezed lime juice, 1 ½
cups of the watermelon puree, and the mint syrup in a large pitcher.

The Katherine Caftan in Blushing Pink & Rhubarb and Ginger Gin
Cocktail

blushing pink Katherine Caftan

This is more of a long-term planned cocktail. The ingredients need time
to infuse. But it’s definitely worth the wait!
Cut 340 g rhubarb stalks and put it in a suitable mason jar. Add 140 g
white caster sugar, 270ml Gin, and 2 slices fresh ginger. Place on a dark
shelf and shake it occasionally until the sugar is dissolved. Once all the
sugar is dissolved, pour off the gin. Make sure to squeeze out all the
liquid – the fruit absorbs a lot of it. You definitely don’t want to waste the
good stuff ;-)

The Melissa Caftan in Melon & Cantaloupe Margaritas

Melissa Caftan in Melon

Melon meets Tequila and lime!
Blend 4 cups chopped cantaloupe until it is smooth. Strain half of the
blended cantaloupe through a sieve to remove the pulp, leave the other
half as is.
Fill a cocktail shaker with the puree, add ½ cup Tequila, ¼ cup lime juice,
2 Tbsp Orange Liqueur, and 1 Tbsp Agave Nectar. Shake well. Ready.
Makes 2 Margaritas.

Enjoy the cocktails & your favorite caftan! It’s your time for
luxury!
